English language

PED Academy has developed its own curriculum for this subject.

The first and second grade focuses on perception of language, understanding and commencing use use of the language, introduction to grammar, as well as beginner reading skills. A goal-directed plan for reading helps children to obtain reading skills - children work actively with the text.

From third to fifth grade, reinforcement of spoken English takes place, as well as the gradual development of English grammar, and the development of reading and writing skills. Students then go on to pass the Cambridge PET (Preliminary English Test), or alternately the Cambridge KET (Key English Test).

Teachers consist of: graduates of faculties of pedagogy for elementary schools, and native speakers of English.
